ABOUT ANNA'S ART
I graduated in 1992 with a degree in Art and Design. During Lockdown in 2020, I rekindled my passion for art and started to do portraits for friends and family. Since this was a big success, I decided to start my own small business doing what I love!
You can commission a portrait for yourself, or as a unique, meaningful gift for friends / family.

Once you have chosen a photograph for the artwork, you will need to decide on the size you would like, and the media (watercolour, pastel or acrylic) I can advise you if you are unsure of anything, just ask

A5 PORTRAIT
(15X21CM)
The smallest portrait I offer
Smallest sized portrait. Head (and shoulders) only

You can choose from pastel or black ink .
For a framed portrait, add £8 for framing service, plus price of frame
A4 PORTRAIT
(21X30CM)
single subject, minimal background
Most popular size for single portraits.
£120. (best framed in an A3 sized frame with mount)
Available in any media; pastel, watercolour, acrylic on canvas, or black ink
CUSTOM SIZED PORTRAIT
Bespoke size, prices will vary. I can do from A5 (15 x 21cm) up to A1 size (60 x 84cm) and also 30cm or 40cm square
This portrait was painted in acrylic on a 30cm square canvas to suit the dimensions of the photograph.

COMMISSIONS
You can commission a unique, hand painted portrait from me via this website. Please send me a clear digital photograph of the pet / person via email, as I need the largest file size you have.
Once I have your deposit (25%) I can add you to my diary (Order early at busy times such as Christmas.)
You can see the quality of my work here. I always strive to capture a perfect likeness and some of the personality of the subject. Memorial portraits are a lovely way to celebrate your loved one's life.
I also offer a framing service.

POSTAGE AND PACKAGING
All artwork is packaged flat with the utmost care. Postage and packaging is paid for by the customer and is at the customers risk.
I post via Royal Mail "Special Delivery" which I have found reliable and has insurance cover
I charge at cost value. Cost depends on size / weight / distance and is typically £10
COMMISSION CONSULTATION
You have a choice of size of portrait (A5, A4, A3 or custom) media (watercolour, pastels, black ink or acrylic paints) Frame (ordered from Amazon to fit your portrait size).
I will liaise with you to make the best choices for your artwork and budget.
We can communicate via email, phone or social media.
Please keep in mind that I might have a waiting list, especially as Christmas approaches. Order in plenty of time. I start work in order of receiving deposit (25%) and useable photos. I might need to order special canvases or art materials for your artwork. I typically complete most portraits within a week.
Pay the balance once you are happy with the portrait, then I will post it to you.

A frame to suit your artwork and decor
I can frame all artwork. I only charge £8 for my framing service plus the price of the frame. I usually order ready made frames from Amazon in communication with you on style / colour.
Prices of frames usually vary between £15 and £40
If you would like to frame yourself, just be aware that pastel artwork needs to be framed behind glass, not Perspex.
I recommend going to a professional framers to get a bespoke frame to match your artwork and decor.
